Cottonwood Invitational

This weekend we have been in Salt Lake at another soccer tournament. This is how it looked coming out of Strawberry on our way. I was sure it would be pouring down rain all day, but it was great soccer weather. It has been tons of fun, but having Tanner and Aaron both playing meant watching 4 soccer games yesterday. I am sunburned! Allen's team won both games yesterday and today they lost to Cottonwood's A team again, but the score was a more acceptable 4-1 this time. It is so fun to watch our kids play and be competitive! We have another game tomorrow and then Allen's team will probably play for the championship again. GO ROCKETS!

Coach Wallace in action, as the Rockets spanked Idaho.

Preparing for another game...the view from their fields is gorgeous!

Aaron playing midfield with his long legs.

Aaron uses some of his fancy footwork to avoid a Revolution defender.

Tanner scored two goals today!  He is such an awesome player, so fun to watch!

Tanner and his team the Predators listen to their coach, William Bowling.

Tanner has some pretty fancy moves...here he headed the ball straight up before heading it again to a teammate.

On our way to our motel last night we saw a mule deer buck cross a busy intersection! He made it, although there was a lot of honking involved. I managed to get a photo of him, but my flash was on and it reflected in the windshield. :(
